To ensure a smooth and professional presentation experience—whether onsite or online—please review the following important guidelines carefully.

Presentation Categories & Timings

1. Plenary Talks

45 minutes (40 min presentation + 5 min Q&A)

2. Keynote Talks

30 minutes (25 min presentation + 5 min Q&A)

3. Invited Talks

20 minutes (15 min presentation + 5 min Q&A)

4. Oral Presentations

15 minutes (13 min presentation + 2 min Q&A)

5. E-Poster Presentations

10 minutes (8 min presentation + 2 min Q&A)

Technical Guidelines for All Presenters

Slide Preparation

Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Format: PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt) or PDF
Recommended Resolution: 1920×108
Design Tips:

  • Use readable fonts (minimum 24 pt for text, 28 pt for headings).
  • Opt for high-contrast colors.
  • Avoid clutter and unnecessary details.
  • Include slide numbers and contact information.
  • Use high-quality images and clear graphics.
  • Begin with a title slide containing your name, title, affiliation, and presentation details.
  • Ensure videos are embedded and tested beforehand.
General Presentation Guidelines
  • Structure your talk with a clear introduction, methodology, results, and conclusion.
  • Use clear, concise English suitable for an international audience.
  • Practice to stay within your allotted time.
  • Include contact details on your final slide.
  • Be prepared for audience interaction during Q&A.

For Onsite Presenters (In-Person)

Overview
  • Arrive at the session room 15 minutes prior to the session start.
  • Introduce yourself to the session chair.
  • Upload your presentation to the session laptop during the preceding break.
  • Bring a USB drive as a backup.
  • Using your own laptop is not recommended.
Equipment & Facilities
  • All presentation rooms are equipped with laptop, projector, screen, microphone, laser pointer.
  • Supported formats: PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt) and PDF.
  • Resolution: 16:9 aspect ratio recommended (1920×1080).

For Online Presenters (via Zoom)

Overview
  • All online presentations will be delivered live via Zoom.
  • Mandatory registration is required to present.
  • Strictly adhere to your scheduled time, including Q&A.
  • Your session will end automatically when your time is up.
  • Zoom links, session schedules, and timings will be sent via email.
  • All times are in Singapore Standard Time (GMT+8).
Technical Requirements
  • Install the latest Zoom Client for Meetings.
  • Test your setup at Zoom Test.
  • Use a stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps). Check your internet speed at SpeedTest.net.
  • Laptop or desktop computer is required (avoid mobile devices).
  • Use of webcam is strongly recommended.
  • Use a headset or external microphone for clear audio.
  • Join from a quiet space; use a neutral or virtual background.
  • Join Zoom at least 15 minutes before your session.
  • Test your audio, video, and screen sharing.
Before Your Session
  • Use the personalized Zoom link sent via email.
  • Join your session room 10 minutes before the entire session starts.
  • Notify the session chair and technical support of your arrival in the chat.
  • Test your microphone, camera, and screen sharing.
  • Close unrelated apps and notifications.
During the Session
  • Mute your microphone when not speaking.
  • Turn on your camera when introduced.
  • Share your screen when it’s your turn to present.
  • Engage the audience through chat and Q&A tools.
  • Follow the session moderator’s instructions.
  • After your presentation, mute your microphone and stop screen sharing.
  • Open the chat window in case you need to contact tech support.
Privacy & Recordings
  • Sessions are moderated; disruptive behavior will result in removal.
  • Sessions will be recorded and shared post-conference.
  • Do not include confidential information in your slides.

Session Management (All Presenters)

  • Arrive at your assigned session (onsite or online) 15 minutes before start time.
  • Introduce yourself to the session chair.
  • Upload your presentation (onsite) during the preceding break.
  • Bring your presentation on a USB drive as a backup.
  • Verify your slides display correctly.
  • For any technical issues, contact the session chair or technical support.

Certificates

e-Certificates will be sent within 3 working days after your presentation.
